I have lots of cherishable memories with him when he lived with me in UK a few times. His visits to UK are typically very short just 1 or 2 months because he always wanted to return and follow his passions in Nature Cure.
He used to say he is already old when he reached 60 but I showed him that's not the case by taking him to my table tennis club in Edinburgh where many people with 70+ years were actively playing the sport. It definitely changed his views for better because he started going to a nearby gym in Chennai (India) and exercised regularly and even lifted heavy weights to the surprise of many younger members. He also used to admire how people relax and enjoy the nature in Scotland (for eg: spending hours and hours reading a book in Princess Street Edinburgh Gardens).
Although I knew he was an expert in herbs, I was amazed by his knowledge on some of the obscure plants and herbs during his visit to botanical garden in Edinburgh. He even planted trees and plants in my garden which I will cherish forever as his memory.
